Here is another piece work for my guys from Star TV.

TV broadcast logo. 

The idea was to get the feeling of 80's vhs/betacam picture style with it's glitches and interlacing.
It was made in vectors and then processed with raster software.
Final image processed with Adobe Photoshop, superheavily processed :

Octopus.minimal

Just another minimalistic exercise I made few weeks ago.
I tried to draw an octopus as a symbol, but Natalka said it looks like a bearded man :)

GUN (Warpunk 2013)

This one is based on my old sketch from 2011 sketchbook and was drawn pretty fast (4 hours approx). The guy and his gun were made in Flash, but Adobe Illustrator was used for camo background and chaotic linear madness. I'm going to use this way of drawing vectors in my further works, because CS 5 rocks for this purposes and flexible *fxg file format  works in really amazing way ( thumbs up for this good feature in Flash CS5 ).
It looks very untidy when it comes to details, but super precision outlines quality is actually not a goal I wanted to achieve here.

Attention! The background magazine is not exists in real life!
I just like to play around with  pop magazine cover design :)

UA Top 10

Ілюстрація для музичного хіт параду на телеканалі Star TV.
Тема : хімічно-музична лабораторія, тому поруч зі звичними пробірками, колбами та мензурками тут розташовані синтезатори ( навіть є спеціальний гібрид синтезатора з осцилографом ), драм машини, колонки та плеєри.
Арт дирекція:  Олександр Ткаленко 

Цікавий факт - спочатку це був UA Top 30, котрий згодом перетворився на Топ 10.

MILK

I'm seriously believe that Flash is pretty nice vector software.
This monster was drawn in Flash CS4 yesterday. That's why the colors are so bright , 
simple and so default here ( I was too lazy to prepare swatches for this work).
Words on nimbus are taken from Big Tony's "Bubble Up''.

Pixel Starboy

I was trying to create a pixel art stylised image in Illustrator yesterday. Actually it's made of squares 10x10 pixels each and can be as huge as vector gfx can be. It's so funny!!!

Jungle Juice

A fresh one made in Illustrator CS4.
Probably this is my first work without highly saturated acid colors. The huge electronic voodoo ape is holding the skull filled up with some kind of potion (or poison?). Main inspiration came with the taste of famous alcohol cocktail and electronic music.
I think this work visually represents Leftfield's "Snakeblood", The Prodigy's "Voodoo People" and "Bananas To The Beat" by Yello.

Character and background are shocking with their outlines. Real mess.

I spent more than 2 hours to prepare color swatches for this work
and my primary idea was to avoid 100% black and default RGB colors.

Turbo Monster

This is my last work of 2012.
One eyed robot with asymmetric face design is dressed in casual sports wear. Supercute ushanka stylised monster is a good friend of him and one of the best examples of successful symbiotic partnership.

Character for ukrainian music channel Star TV
Персонаж для українського музичного каналу Star TV

Насправді персонажів декілька, кожний з котрих наділений власним характером - веселун, розумник, агресивний, суворий, крутий, хуліган, тощо.Усі об'єднані однією стилістикою - величезна голова, малесенький тулуб (інколи навіть немає рук), неслухняна зачіска, товста обводка з градієнтом та "вирізаний" контур.

Розробка логотипа. Головною умовою була присутність зірки, котра асоціюється з логотипом каналу. Варіанти.

                               
Логотип. Фінальна версія. Товста обводка з волоссям робить його візуально пов'язаним з виглядом персонажів.

Порпаючись в нутрощах Наталкиного зовнішнього HDD випадково натрапив на старі малюнки. Більшість з них це лайно ,котре сьогодні соромно показувати, але цей скан доволі непоганий. Здається, мене тоді надихнули андроїди з епізоду "Нове Відродження" анімаційної збірки "Animatrix"
