Востаннє я малював ніндзя черепашок у 1993-му році, коли мені на день народження батьки подарували альбом для малювання з тюленем на обкладинці та прикольний олівець з верблюдами стилізованими під африканські етнічні візерунки.
Нещодавно переглянув двійко епізодів cтарого мультсеріалу, котрий більше не такий яскравий і насичений екшном як в дитинстві, але ці персонажі досі впливають на характер та образи моїх малюнків.
Певно варто подякувати цим людям: Kevin Eastman та Peter Laird.
Ось сторінки з мого сучасного альбому - він без тюленя ,його обкладинка нудна та чорна, проте будучи професійним художником я продовжую карлякати те ж, що карлякав малий хлопчак у 1993-му.

I started to paint this picture 1 year ago - 6th of April 2012. It's  finished today. Finally.

So...

Last 2 days I've been working on this thing that costs me 10 hours approx. This vector drawing is based on my old (november or december 2012) drawing from the sketchbook which can be found HERE (4th one).

Basic requirement was to avoid black color and to keep the lines simple. Actually I really proud with result achieved and with clean feeling here.Color palette of this picture is also something new for me, because of fresh desaturated colors.

Denki Groove is written with japanese hieroglyphs here and yes, It's the name of electronic music band from Japan. 

You're Gone free font developed by Typodermic Fonts was used in my work.

RBTRK (robot rock) is just occasional title I decided to take and don't ask me about Daft Punk ok? :)

Here is another piece work for my guys from Star TV.

TV broadcast logo. 

The idea was to get the feeling of 80's vhs/betacam picture style with it's glitches and interlacing.
It was made in vectors and then processed with raster software.
Final image processed with Adobe Photoshop, superheavily processed :

Octopus.minimal

Just another minimalistic exercise I made few weeks ago.
I tried to draw an octopus as a symbol, but Natalka said it looks like a bearded man :)

Hey! Wait a minute

Vintage comics palette and dirty texture made this work finished so it's not another overpainted sketch.
Actually 2 robots are trying to get into the groove here :)

I'm not good at drawing cute characters,
but 3 days ago I was commissioned to draw a few cupids for Star TV live music channel
This is my favourite one.

Starboy

Character for ukrainian music channel Star TV
Персонаж для українського музичного каналу Star TV

Насправді персонажів декілька, кожний з котрих наділений власним характером - веселун, розумник, агресивний, суворий, крутий, хуліган, тощо.Усі об'єднані однією стилістикою - величезна голова, малесенький тулуб (інколи навіть немає рук), неслухняна зачіска, товста обводка з градієнтом та "вирізаний" контур.

Розробка логотипа. Головною умовою була присутність зірки, котра асоціюється з логотипом каналу. Варіанти.

                               
Логотип. Фінальна версія. Товста обводка з волоссям робить його візуально пов'язаним з виглядом персонажів.

Троє найбільш вдалих ,на мою думку, персонажів:

Розумник

Ескізи - це те з чого все починалося.

Логотип "Starboy", персонаж та фоновий візерунок є власністю Star TV, бла-бла-бла :)
