Just another page from my sketchbook.

Filterfish painting.

"Filterfish" is my painting with acryllic on canvas.
I started to paint this one in November 2011 and finished in February 2012. I wanted to get out from my previous pattern sequence based pictures (War Dogs, Sharking Beat) and to paint something like huge illustration. This probably  the first time I used a lot of green paint :)

Turtles?

Востаннє я малював ніндзя черепашок у 1993-му році, коли мені на день народження батьки подарували альбом для малювання з тюленем на обкладинці та прикольний олівець з верблюдами стилізованими під африканські етнічні візерунки.
Нещодавно переглянув двійко епізодів cтарого мультсеріалу, котрий більше не такий яскравий і насичений екшном як в дитинстві, але ці персонажі досі впливають на характер та образи моїх малюнків.
Певно варто подякувати цим людям: Kevin Eastman та Peter Laird.
Ось сторінки з мого сучасного альбому - він без тюленя ,його обкладинка нудна та чорна, проте будучи професійним художником я продовжую карлякати те ж, що карлякав малий хлопчак у 1993-му.

50s rockabilly, 60s psychedelic, 70s punk, 80s new wave/synth, 90s hip hop, 00s internet era.
I had enough time to draw these pictures, so I'm a bit proud with the result.

There are my favorite in large size.
80s - new wave, synth, vector gfx videogames, miami vice, laser, vhs, shining metal, glitter, neon.

And 00s - internet, ipod, mp3, digital entertainment, download, messengers, social networking, cutting edge videogames.

All that stuff is courtesy of Star TV live music channel and blah-blah-blah.
